We care because it’s our passion.

In 1945, C.B. Horton saw a need for a more loving and caring choice for older adults. Mr. Horton, father of Marlene Ostrom, converted schools and churches to places where seniors could live and be given individual attention so they could maintain independence and dignity. His passion to care in a kind and Christian manner made him unique from his competitors. Today, this legacy continues into the third generation with the Ostrom family, establishing the foundation for everything we do.

Walk in the door of any of our locations and experience an immediate atmosphere of interpersonal connection. When a family member is considering a move, this loving environment may be more important than the physical space itself. At Stafford, though our buildings are lovely, this is where we shine.

We are passionate about providing an exceptional community for seniors, not simply a place to live, but a place to thrive. Each member of our team is drawn to Stafford not just for a job, but to serve.

Our service is embedded in the founding principles of the Ostrom family companies, Christian principles of caring and compassion. True service to others. Honesty. Integrity. Love. The Golden Rule. It’s not just what we do; it’s who we are.

You can see our staff passionately demonstrate their commitment to seniors by supporting their independence and freedom of choice — helping them to thrive. Quality of life is not only about physical abilities, but it’s also about shared laughter, quiet conversations, a hug, and a smile. We hope to inspire the genuine desire to get out of bed in the morning and see what the day has to offer.

Our incredible staff welcomes you and your family…because this is our passion.
