Great Food and Fun Outings
Tasty restaurant-style meals can be enjoyed with the companionship of family and friends in our comfortable dining areas. Meals are nutritionally balanced by a dietician, freshly prepared, and cater to personal preferences as well as special dietary needs. Residents are offered menu choices whenever medically possible and are encouraged to participate in menu planning.
Our Executive Chef meets with each resident to assure likes and dislikes are noted when meals are prepared. Our dietary staff is dedicated to providing three delicious meals a day, different entrees to choose from and tasty desserts. Plus holiday or special events that may include a variety of homemade desserts or chef prepared hors d’oeuvres. In between meals and snacks are available to residents upon request such as homemade soups or warm cookies.
For many of our residents, meal time is the best part of the day, our Chef and dietary team is dedicated to providing great meals and a dining experience that residents will enjoy.
Transportation Services
Stafford Healthcare at Ridgemont offers a variety of transportation services to accommodate our residents. We provide complimentary transportation to local medical appointments. If family members are not available, we will send an attendant to go along with our resident to their physician appointments. Our van can also be reserved, fee for service, for personal travel when available.
Our campus offers a twenty-five passenger bus that is wheel chair accessible in order to take residents on extraordinary activity outings. Residents enjoy trips to the tulip fields, pumpkin patch, fairgrounds, shopping centers and restaurants. Rides home often include a stop at the ice cream shop or special view point by resident request. Activity and care giving staff escort residents during activity tours to ensure their individual health needs are met.
