We appreciate the fact that you would rather be at home, but, honestly feel that we offer the next best thing during this important time of life. Every effort is made to accommodate the needs and wants of the people who stay with us.
Social and recreational activities are offered to encourage personal growth, from hobby and craft sessions like gardening, baking and painting to other group activities like movies, bingo, parties, exercise and games. Each resident is different and it is our job to identify individual preferences that make a positive difference in their life.
Quality of life is not about physical abilities but about shared laughter, quiet conversations, shared moments, a hug, a smile. It’s a real desire to get out of bed in the morning and see what the day has to offer.
Spiritual needs are met through interdenominational religious activities which include Bible studies and weekly services. Pastoral counseling is also available for those who desire it.
To encourage resident participation and ensure satisfaction, our Resident Council meets monthly to share concerns and new ideas. We encourage feedback from our residents and families and view this input as an opportunity to improve our performance and resident satisfaction.
