We care because it's our passion.

In 1945, C.B. Horton saw a need for a more loving and caring choice for older adults. Mr. Horton, father of Marlene Ostrom, converted schools and churches to places where seniors could live and be given a little help, a little individual attention to ensure they could maintain independence and dignity. His passion to care in a kind and Christian manner made him unique from his competitors. Today, this legacy continues into the third generation with the Ostrom family, establishing the foundation for everything we do.

Walk in the door of any organization and you get a feel for the culture, the interpersonal environment. When a family member is going to move in, this environment may be more important than the physical space. At Stafford, this is where we shine.

We are passionate about providing an exceptional community for seniors, not simply a place to live but a place to thrive. Each member of our team is drawn to Stafford not just for a job, but to serve. The Golden Rule applies here, every day, in all that we do.

Our service is embedded in the founding principles of the Ostrom family companies, Christian principles of caring and compassion. True service to others. Honesty. Integrity. Love. It's not just what we do; it's who we are.

You can see our staff passionately demonstrate their
commitment to seniors by supporting their
independence and freedom of choice--helping
them to thrive. Quality of life is not about
physical abilities but about shared laughter,
quiet conversations, a hug, a smile. A real
desire to get out of bed in the morning
and see what the day has to offer.

Our incredible staff welcomes
you and your family. Because
this is our passion.
